My childhood dream was to travel around the world or atleast some parts of the world and I always thought it would remain just a dream as life back then was so difficult & simple. Travel is not for us, I thought. Living in a remote area, away from the civilization, technology, malls, universities & more everything seemed so hard.
I remember when we were so young everytime we hear or see an airplane flying in the sky, we would always shout & waved our hands “bye-bye”. Such a joy for us.
What a good Lord. I started living with my dream. Who would have thought that? It never ever crossed my mind. Thank you Lord. Now I have more chance, opportunity & privilege to travel so while I am still in this airline industry, I will work hard & try to travel as much as I can. It’s my way to reward and console myself to continue working.
This was my first trip having a tourist label visa. I always travel to a “visa free/visa on arrival” country. I am so happy & proud of myself I managed to get one of the strongest visa in the world. Thank you, Japan. I will come back again…
Work, travel, save and repeat.

Spass is one of the permits to work & stay in Singapore or in short it serves as Visa. This year, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) here in Singapore is controlling the number of foreign workers and due to that some of my colleagues were already sent home to Philippines for their Spass has not been renewed. I Thanked God mine got renewed. I’ve been praying for it so hard.
I thanked my company for giving me another two years to work with them. Even its a kind of stressful shift but then when I realize that I have the greatest job ever!. I quickly feel lucky & bless. With all my heart I thank you Lord for all that you do. You bless me in big ways & in small ways. You never cease to amaze me with your Love, Grace & Mercy everyday.
My sister who is also working abroad in Africa called me up and was telling me that she wanted to take her Christmas and New year holidays with me in Oman. Oh my God, how happy I was to hear that one. It is my secret dream to bring atleast one of my family members to the country where I work to be with me and to let them see the beauty of the country. Right after our conversation, I immediately inquired about the requirements for visa processing. I heard that it is not easy to get a visa for her since my work is not in managerial position (Immigration officer might think I can’t afford to assist her stay) and my sister is single (Officer will consider the possibility that might my sister will seek for an employment). We prayed hard until one friend of mine suggested me to ask some help from my boss. Without any hesitation I went to my general manager’s office the next day and I spoke with him asking help regarding with my sister’s visa. Boss was so kind enough without any doubt he told me to ask his secretary to fill up the form. I did it and I completed all the requirements being asked with me. Just 2 weeks after my sister’s visa was released. The visa is approved! What a great joy and excitement I felt. It was showing in her visa that my company is her sponsor. Thank you so much Boss! I got the visa without any effort and very quick and 70% less compare if I buy to the travel agency. See you soon my dear Sister.
