Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming  down from the father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of change. (James 1:17)

What a lovely day! I started my morning by Praying & reading His words. I woke up full of thanksgiving in my heart. Thanking the Lord for the gift of life, for giving me another year to celebrate His goodness & faithfulness in my life.

Celebrating my birthday in a fun & unique way by having “photo shoot” 🙂 and a date with the Lord in the church made my day.

It feels great receiving everyone’s warm birthday greetings & wishes. Thankful to my family who never fail to show their love & care at me though they’re miles away, especially to my great mom who sing birthday song to me over the phone. Hearing her voice made me teary eyed, also thankful to my special someone Leo for not making me feel I’m away from home, to my friends & colleagues, to my ever supportive roommate Aby & our housemate Marlon for the photo shoot. I feel so loved & blessed. Thank you all so much guys..You are all appreciated.

Spass is one of the permits to work & stay in Singapore or in short it serves as Visa. This year, the  Ministry of Manpower (MOM) here in Singapore is controlling the number of foreign workers and due to that some of my colleagues were already sent home to Philippines for their Spass has not been renewed. I Thanked God mine got renewed. I’ve been praying for it so hard.

I thanked my company for giving me another two years to work with them. Even its a kind of stressful shift but then when I realize that I have the greatest job ever!. I quickly feel lucky & bless. With all my heart I thank you Lord for all that you do. You bless me in big ways & in small ways. You never cease to amaze me with your Love, Grace & Mercy everyday.

It’s another check on my 2013 prayer’s list.

Thank you Lord.. Life is Beautiful

It was just a dream of mine when I was a child to tour around the world which i thought would just remain a dream. But now I just couldn’t believed  that it  slowly become into reality. My work is giving me a chance and opportunity to visit some other countries. And here we go..A trip to Malaysia…And the best part of it I had my two sisters along with me. It was a short tiring trip but thanked God, we enjoyed and had fun together though.

First day:

Right after we arrived  in the airport, we immediately find our hotel for we had only limited time but Oh no! We reached  at the hotel too early and still have to wait for check-in time. So even we were all both tired and exhausted from the airplane, bus and train traveling we immediately start our adventure. We just had our quick lunch and right away went to

BATU CAVE – is a limestone hill, which has a series of caves and cave temples, in the Gombak district, 13 kilometres north of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It takes its name from the Sungai Batu or Batu River, which flows past the hill.

We took train and bus to reach there. Friendly monkeys greeted us on our arrival.

It’s a sacred place for the Hindus. Right away i can tell that culture plays a big role in their society

We made it

1728_498008023569485_628544800_n

We got challenged to climb up 272 steps, which lead us  to the religious and magnificent Batu Caves. We did it! We made it to the top though t’was so hot. We are so proud of ourselves. One of a kind experience.

After we came down, we refreshed ourselves with a cold fresh coconut juice and bought some small souvenirs  and had on our way back to the hotel.

Prescott Inn Hotel

Such a nice place to rest after a tiring day. The Hotel is so clean with cozy beds, only the female reception staff were not that so friendly.

Day Two:

GENTING RESORT WORLD – is a Hill Resort. It is Malaysia’s biggest theme park. All in one place -amusement,  Entertainment, accommodation, Dining & Shopping. It is nestled on a mountain peak (maximum elevation about 1,860 metres (6,100 ft)) within the Titiwangsa Mountains. It is accessible by car from Kuala Lumpur in one hour, or also accessible by a cable car called Genting Skyway (3.38 kilometres) which at its opening used to be the world’s fastest and South East Asia’s longest gondola lift.

I got to say what a site to see from on top. The place is very cold. It’s a good place for adventure of  fun and excitement for the whole family!

Last Day:

Petronas Twin Towers – are Twin Skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. were the tallest building in the world from 1998 to 2004 until surpassed by Taipei 101, then Burj Khalifa Building  of  Dubai but they remain the tallest twin building in the world. The buildings are the landmark of Kuala Lumpur.

For it onced only a dream..now it happened. Praying for more trips to come.

Thank you Lord for the blessings, for making us experienced this beautiful life.

It’s worth the Pain

November 25, 2010

Two years have passed, when God painfully sculpted my life for a great design. He let people break me to build the master piece He wanted for me.

I was completely broken. My heart shattered into small pieces. I felt like God had abandoned me and it made me reached to the point of questioning Him, Why He had bless everyone except me? Why had He left me–hurting, heartbroken & most of all–the feeling like a fool. I knew God had a wonderful  purpose why I got through that pain. But loving the life I had that  i thought was beautiful and was meant for me brought me into misery.

Leaning on my own understanding made me so difficult to understand what God really wanted for me. Even though I trusted Him that He was only working for my best but still everything seemed so unclear & unfair for me. I felt bitterness & wished for the people caused me so much pain that one day they will know & feel how much painful they have done & go through what i went through and that God will let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: will let them be clothed with shame & dishonour that magnify themselves againts me (Psalms 35:26). But thanks God despite I didn’t feel resentment deep inside. I learned to understand & forgive. I walked-on & let God construct  the new design of my life.

Moving-on and acceptance of the things i thought i’d lost was not easy. It took years for me to let go.  After all, I felt God have never left me. He planned everything perfectly. Through prayers, by faith & by my family He gave me strength & comfort to carry on everyday. His holy hands hold me still, shaping my heart anew.

My heart is fixed, oh God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. (Psalms 57:7)

God indeed works in His own ways. Now my heart rejoice for what he has done. He makes all things beautiful in His time.

Love brings me back around. I fall in love again.. 🙂

After all Life is still Beautiful!!!

Just at the right time

“Ur presence in my life brings wonderful smiles & a loving thoughts within my heart”

Thankful to you Lord for the sunshine you gave after the rainy days of my life. If there’s still a rain coming on the way still I am grateful for the sunshine I have that delights my life & gives me hope today. But of course, I am praying  for a rainbow to shine in my life! No more rain, no more pain.

But whatever…Life is still Beautiful!!!

India Tour

I get more fascinated to travel around the world when I got engaged in an airline Industry. I am a woman who finds happiness in collecting experiences than stuff. I am adventurous. Im not fun of going to the pub or in the mall but I love going to places i’ve never been to see the wonders of God’s beautiful creation anywhere in the world.

A close friend of mine asked me if  i’d like to come & visit His Country, India. He knows Traveling is my passion. At first, I think of it not a good idea for I thought it’s so hassle to comply the visa requirements and I was not interested though. But when I checked just for curiosity and learned that Philippine passport holder traveling as a Tourist or visiting family or friends in India can obtain “Visa On Arrival -(VOA)”  for maximum stay of 30 days. It is a great advantage for me working as a Passenger Check-in Agent  for I can check all these things easily. I love my job!

I decided to go. I had spoken to his sister to make sure his family are aware of my visit. I managed to settle everything. My passport was with me so I don’t need to borrow from my company unlike to my previous companies retaining my passport until I finish my contract with them. I had no choice co’z if I don’t give up my passport, I will be let go. It’s quite troublesome since basically I need to have a valid reason so that they will let me borrow my passport for a certain period of time. My leave is approved and Airfare & Hotel were booked at Dailyn’s Travel and Tours.

Welome to New Dehli Airport!!!

I flew with Air India flight. Base on my own observation the plane was quite old as well as the cabin crew. Service was just normal nothing special. Foods was good. We landed on time but we stayed inside the aircraft for an hour before we disembarked the plane due to no available of aerobridge. Thanks God we arrived safe and sound. My friend and one of His friend fetched me up in the airport and sent me to the Hotel which is an hour drive away from the airport. Right the next morning, me, my friend and his two friends started our journey.

First Day: TAJ MAHAL

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Never in my life I thought I could visit one of the seven wonders of the world “the Taj Mahal” not even in my wildest imagination. Indeed, it’s a wonderful and a very historical building. Taj Mahal is located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. The approximate distance from New Delhi to Agra is 231 kms and it takes approximately 3-4 hours drive. It was built in between 1631 by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife- his favourite wife, Taj Mahal. It took 22 years to build the entire monument with 20,000 workers. The hands of workers were cut off under the order of Shah Jahan after the completion of the structure, so that no other monument so majestic could ever be made. It is one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage.  On our way back to new Delhi we stopped by to

11146650_823529484350669_295699834450319387_nIndia Gate

It is situated in the heart of New Delhi. The gate originally called the All India War Memorial. It was built in memory of the 90,000 Indian soldiers who laid down their lives during World War I. The names of all the soldiers who died during the World War I are inscribed on the walls of the Gate.

Day two: Punjab, Chandigarh

Chandigarh is 253 kilometers and it takes 4 hours drive from New Dehli. It is the capital of two states, Punjab and Haryana, and a union territory of India. The name translates in Hindi as “The fort of Chandi”, Chandi meaning being a Hindu Goddess. The City also known as “The City Beautiful” hence it is more neat, clean and organized place unlike any other City in the country. It has unique and planned architectures and the weather is cool. And most of all what makes the City beautiful is the “women” of the City which are really beautiful.

There’s a lot of beautiful tourist spot in the place to visit with like

Chattbir Zoo a zoological park. A famous zoo in Punjab. It has about 950 animals and birds belonging to about 85 species. One of the major  attractions in the zoo is the Lion zafari and the Royal Bengal Tiger.

Rock Garden

The garden is created by Nek Chand in 1960, whose a transport official and a self thought artist. Rock garden is a combination of scultptures, huge buildings with a series of interlinking wall path and waterfalls. The garden is famous with it’s sculpted figures which are made of stone and recycled materials mostly came from broken pieces of glass, ceramics and tiles. The area is over twenty five acres big.

Sukhna Lake

One of the best features of planned City of Chandigarh. It is an artificial lake that lies in the foothills of Himalayas created by damming the seasonal stream that came down from Shivalik hills. The lake is best place for picnic or hang-out for family, couple, friends or individuals. It offers water sports activity such as boating, yatching, water skiing & etc. The kids will enjoy the playground and joyride around. Enjoy the beauty of the nature and feel the cool breeze while feeding the duck and watching sea birds flying. The place also surrounded with restaurants and shops. At night a reflection of Kasauli hills gives a very peaceful and relaxing feeling. Indeed, a place must to visit.

Kaimbwala Village

Somewhere in Kaimbwala, a rural place in Chandigarh, I found a beautiful resort and meet old man & woman. I was so amazed as the resort is located in the middle of a huge yellow mustard farm and you have to drive onto the dike road to get there. While on the way to the resort you will pass by a small pretty village where you can discover a unique culture and witness traditional life. I can see the kids enjoying the village life. I remember my childhood living in a village. It’s so simple but yet  so much fun. Sometimes the simplest things can bring so much happiness.

Third Day: Kufri Mountain

After a day of stopover in Punjab, Chandigarh, my friends drove me through all the way to Kufri Mountain. Kufri is a small hill station in Shimla District. It was once a part of Kingdom of Nepal. It has an average elevation of 9,000 feet. There are no direct flights or trains or buses between Chandigarh to Kufri. The convenient and fastest way is to drive a car or take a taxi. Distance between Chandigarh to Kufri is 134 km by Road, for about 3 hours and 1/2 drive.

You will get relax as you take in the amazing valley and panoramic view of the mountains while driving. It was such an unforgettable experience for me as this was the first time I saw and touched a snow. I didn’t know that there are some places in India that snow.

An hour of trail to drive, walk and horse back riding to climb up to the mountain’s peak. The view of the spectacular art of nature on top is breath-taking. It’s unbelievable that you will find an amusement park to enjoy on top of the snow mountain. The park is equipped with various rides, pools, world’s highest go-kart track. Aside there are also some tourist attractions and fun activities for both young and adult to enjoy with the whole day, such as,  snow slides, snow skiing, yak riding and so much more. There are also souvenir’s shops and restaurant in the place.

 Fourth Day: Shimla

Shimla was declared as the summer capital of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh on 1864. It’s name derived from the goddess Shyamala Devi, an incarnation of the Hindu goddess Kali. The resident houses crowned the rugged hills. It looks so beautiful and impressive with it’s Victorian style design.

I’ve been to Shimla main market located on top of the hill. I was amazed with the spectacular cool hill which I thought far from civilization and away from technology, have a “lift” to use to go up on top. The place is blessed with natural beauty. The view is stunning as it is surrounded by green mountains with snow-capped peaks. The old structure buildings, churches, shops, bars and restaurants inside the place makes you forget you are on the hill top. It feels like you are in the City.

Day Five: Kasauli Mountain

On our way back to Chandigarh, another mountain we stopped over to. Kasauli is still part of indian state of Himachal Pradesh. One of the  landmarks of Kasauli are the Churches and Temples.

It was a very nice stop after few days of tour, I have spent time with God. We have visited Christ Church Kasauli and took time to pray. The church is also known as Angelican Church as old name. It contains Spanish and Italian imported stained glass windows. The  church is pretty stunning, with a beautiful clocktower. We also visited kasauli Baptist Church which is “considered a unique example of colonial architecture of the British era”. I felt very near and close to God with the place. It’s so peaceful and quite, as you walk around you will feel the cold fresh air blow into your face while hearing the sweet and soothing voices of the birds along with the gentle rustling of leaves. Also you will find a friendly monkeys guarding the area. The place is what they believe the best place to pray for prayers will really be answered. Indeed, God saw and heard my cry, my prayer has been answered. God is great.

Timber Trail

Our last side trip before going back to New Delhi. Timber trail is a good respite from a long journey. It is located along the national Highway22, as you cross the state border from Haryana into Himachal, Parwanoo. Situated at an altitude of 5000 feet atop the Shivalik Range. Timber trail cable car brings you to the resort over the mountain, there you will enjoy the scenery, the picturesque beauty of the green high hills, while eating and relaxing.

In my India tour, few things I experienced “first time” in life and one of them was the cable car riding. It was a thrilling and awesome experience.

Day Six: Homeward Bound

Right after our short stopped at Timber trail, we immediately drove back to New Delhi. We reached at New Delhi in the evening and shopped very quick as my flight back to Singapore was the next morning.

India is really blessed with natural beauty and resources. I’d still like to stay and explore other places of their country but my tour was over. It’s time to go back to reality and work. I really appreciate the time and effort of my bestfriend and his friends who’s been my drivers and tour guides for free. I’m so thankful to my bestfriend for making my India tour a very enjoyable and unforgettable one. I would have not experienced all  those things and would have not reached and seen those God’s wonderful creations in their place if not because of my him. I had really so much fun. I look forward to returning to India in the future. How great thou art!

Live, loe and enjoy. Life is Beautiful.

Lunar eclipse

I got so happy and excited when I heard in the local TV news about the total eclipse which happened yesterday night. It was the darkest and the longest lunar eclipse in the century ever. I become a sky watcher and started to have interest and passion taking pictures with the sky since I started to blog. Lunar eclipse happens when the moon, earth and sun are exactly align to each other with the Earth in the center. It was announced that the eclipse was supposed to occur at around 01:00 a.m. yesterday. I waited to witness and capture the spectacular event  and unfortunately I just get disappointed because there was no eclipse. I slept back and found out in the morning that it did occur at 03:45 a.m. My sister had seen it  and captured how the moon slowly disappear and how it became red. Oh, I missed it! Hope there is still next time.

The day was a bit shady and everyone was very busy preparing for the big day of my cousin. It was my cousin’s wedding day! The wedding ceremony started at 10:00 in the morning and I was so happy and honored that I was part of the wedding program. I was the one who lighted the unity candle that symbolized the union of their hearts. There were lots of guests witnessed their wedding vows and it was just like a reunion of our relatives and long lost friends. The couple looked so lovely and so in-love. I admired them for being very hands-on in planning their own wedding and got impress with the way their wedding turned out. Everything went smooth. My hearty congratulations to the proud bride and the groom. We are so happy for both of you and we wish you greatest joy, love and happiness for a lifetime. God bless you.

“AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.” (Mark 10:8-9)

Birthday Party!

I’ve been in a week of stressful events, mind blowing things and sleepless nights that made myself busy, exhausted and tired. I traveled the whole week, reported for an interview, processed documents here and there, picnic and lastly ended it up by throwing a party. We made a thanksgiving party for God’s faithfulness in our family. He provides work to my brother who was jobless for almost a year and for I passed in my job interview but the really reason was to celebrate my father and sister’s birthday.

It was Sunday and my sister’s birthday. We went to the Church attended regular Sunday worship service and after we had lunch and then made a small party for her. We bought a cake and delicious refreshments. Her birthday party didn’t end up yet. Still the ostentatious celebration was still waiting to be joined together with my dad’s birthday party the next day. I am so happy I got lots of Great party gift idea by Kokopax, check out their baby bathtubs.I just can’t believe that our youngest sibling, the birthday girl have her own family and baby already.

When the day turned to dark everyone started to prepare and cook foods for tomorrow’s celebration. And of course I helped. I cooked spaghetti.

The big party happened at the beach. All our relatives and some of the church members were there. We prepared roasted pig, grilled Tuna fish , delicious mutton recipes and many more. My father brought his big music sound system for sing-along or we so called it “videoke or karaoke.”  Everyone seemed full and very enjoyed especially the kids with their favorite baby bathtubs. What a nice feeling for after few years just now again I was able to join a family party and gatherings. It was fun!

It is said that if you give a man a fish you feed him for a day. If you teach him how to fish you’ll feed him for a lifetime.

Recently, right after we came from a trip to Cebu City we immediately drove through my uncle’s house. It took us an hour and a half driving in a hollow and rough road which made all of us so tired and exhausted. My uncle dewatered his fish pond and invited all of us for a lunch in their house. All young men and some adults were having fun digging on the pond to catch fishes with their bare hands. They were able to catch a bucket full of different fishes. The ladies showed teamwork as well – by cleaning and cooking delicious fish dishes. What a lovely and yummy meal it was. Everyone got a happy full tummy. Thank you Uncle Rudy for the treat. It was such a nice and enjoyable bonding! God bless you more and more.

I love this simple yet happy life… Life is Beautiful!!!
